Mangalore: Photography Club Organizes Workshop

Mangalore, Dec 20: The Mangalore Photography Club organized the third day-long photography workshop at Hotel Moti Mahal on Sunday December 18. This was a basic photography course meant for beginners as well as for advanced amateurs.

The workshop was attended by 45 people. The resource persons were Dr Krishnamohan Prabhu, Rohit S Rao and Dijaraj Nair.

The workshop included theory sessions which dealt in topics like composition, Lighting, focusing and photography concepts. The practical sessions dealt with handling the camera and a detailed instruction on using various cameras,lens & accessories. The participants had a hands on training in portrait, outdoor and other thematic photography.

The organizers also had an impressive exhibition of world class camera equipment, lens, tripods and a host of accessories.

The participants were also introduced to specialized fields of photography like wildlife and nature photography, portrait, still life photography, tabletop photography and macro or close-up photography.
