Two Bagalkot residents arrested over pickup vehicle theft in Bantwal

Bantwal, Dec 13: A case of theft involving a pickup goods vehicle parked in the yard of Tiyara Interlock Factory at Arthila, Malady village, was registered at the Punjalakatte police station on December 2.

The police arrested Kanakappa Yamanappa Kyadigeri (24) from Bandanur Mane, Mudhol taluk, and Ramesh Chouhan (26) from New Flat near Maddilakkamma Temple, Chikkamagi village, Hunagunda taluk, Bagalkot district.

The stolen goods vehicle, valued at Rs 3 lac, was recovered from the suspects.

The operation was led by DySP Vijaya Prasad, Beltangady CI Nagesh Kadri, and SI Nandakumar, with support from staff members Sandeep, Rahul, Rajeeth, Saleem, Prakash, Ramya, Basavaraj, and Sampat.
