Raftaar lauds Pho’s artistic prowess on ‘MTV Hustle 4’

Mumbai, Dec 14 (IANS): Rapper Raftaar, who is known for ‘Morni’, ‘Dhakad’, ‘Ghana Kasoota’, ‘Bandook Meri Laila’ and others, was heavily impressed with the performance of a contestant on the hip-hop reality show ‘MTV Hustle 4’.

The show kicked off its intense phase with ‘The Ultimate Battle Verse’ where eight hustlers are set for a face off, but only four will secure their spot in the grand finale.

The episode started with a clash of Vichaar and Siyaahi, as they both came armed with conscious verses and unmatched depth, leaving the audience and judges awestruck.

Blown away by Siyaahi’s depth and precision, Ikka said, “Teri performance mai koi kami nahi, tere pen game mai koi kami nahi, tere rapper hone mai koi kami nahi”.

This was followed by the battle between Madtrip and Pho. Bringing unmatched energy, Pho owned the stage with a performance that’s nothing short of iconic. Raftaar praised her, as he said, “Aaj tune justify kiya hai ki Pho MTV Hustle pe kyun hai. Aur aaj ke baad janta bolegi, Pho ladi mardani thi woh DHH ki rani thi”.

Madtrip also stunned the judges as he proved that he’s here to compete.

The third battle saw the clash of Naam Sujal and Lashcurry. Sujal’s sharp delivery and punchlines won the judges over early, but Lashcurry’s explosive rebuttal and impactful bars raised the stakes.

The final face-off was marked by Sense and Ghaint Jxtt as they went head to head into the battle with Ghaint Jxtt’s storytelling masterpiece. Sense pushed the envelope with a performance that made it difficult for the judges to arrive at a decision.

With emotions at an all-time high and the stakes even higher, the night wraps up on an epic cliffhanger.

‘MTV Hustle 4: Hip-Hop Don’t Stop’ airs Saturday and Sunday on MTV and is also available on JioCinema.
