Central Global University, Georgia honorary doctorate conferred on actor Deepak Paladka in Dubai

Dubai, Dec 15: Actor Deepak Paladka was awarded an honorary doctorate at the annual convocation ceremony held at the Park Regis Hotel Ballroom in Dubai, UAE. This prestigious distinction was presented to him by Dr Edward Roy Krishnan, founder of European International University (EIU) Paris, and Dr Raheel Asgar. The ceremony was organized by EIU and Nouran Education. Along with the honorary degree, Deepak Paladka received a trophy as part of this significant recognition.

He was conferred the honorary professional doctorate in business management from Central Global University, Georgia (CGU, EIU) in recognition of his outstanding achievements in business management, social service, and entertainment, including his contributions to movies, stage performances, and radio. This honor acknowledged his significant impact on society as a whole. The degree was presented in the presence of esteemed faculty members, distinguished guests, fellow graduates, and family and friends.

Deepak’s passion for acting is equally remarkable, as he has made a mark in regional language films, including Konkani, Tulu, Kannada, and Punjabi. Before his breakthrough in Tulu films like Nirel and Dhand, Deepak was a stage artist, performing in Konkani plays both in India and Dubai. He was also part of a winning team in the Bale Thelipale comedy drama competition held in Dubai a few years ago.

In India, Deepak's wife, Roshni, runs successful businesses, including Crystal Agency & Services and Roshni’s Ladies Beauty Parlour. The couple has two talented children, Crystal and Aarush, who continue to inspire with their accomplishments.

While receiving the honorary doctorate, Deepak Paladka expressed his happiness and gratitude, saying, “I stand before you today with a heart full of gratitude and humility as I accept this doctorate. This is not just a personal achievement; it is a testament to the support, encouragement, and guidance I have received from many remarkable individuals along the way.” His words reflected the deep appreciation he holds for those who have helped him on his journey and acknowledged the collective effort behind his success.

During the ceremony, Deepak continued his heartfelt speech, saying:

Deepak Paladka has been based in Dubai for over 25 years, working in senior positions in the corporate world.

The event also saw 32 young graduates being awarded their degrees, adding to the significance of the occasion and making it a memorable and inspirational evening for all. The ceremony not only celebrated Deepak Paladka’s remarkable achievements but also highlighted the accomplishments of the new graduates, reinforcing the importance of hard work, dedication, and the pursuit of knowledge.
