Sullia: Hunter mistakenly shoots domestic dog

Sullia, Dec 16: A domestic dog was fatally shot by a hunter who mistook it for a wild animal in Peraje village of the taluk.

The dog belonged to Kapumale Kundalpadi Dayakara.

On Saturday night, the hunter fired at the dog, assuming it to be a wild animal. Upon realizing his mistake, he fled the scene.

The family of the deceased pet is enraged over the incident and the hunter’s unidentified identity.
