Haveri, Jan 2: Former chief minister and MP Basavaraj Bommai has expressed gratitude to the union railway minister and officials for enabling the Vijayapura-Mangaluru Express train to halt at the Yalavigi railway station.

Sharing the update on social media, Bommai stated that the train will now stop at Yalavigi station, providing convenience to passengers traveling on the Vijayapura-Mangaluru route.

Let the MP Bommai thank the railways for food stations on the route. People dont have proper food counters after Subramania Rd. Nothing till late night halt in Shivamogga. Even Sakleshpur and no service absolutely in AC compartments. Let stoppages not be the priority.
