Mangaluru, Jan 3: The Karavali Utsava 2024 has introduced innovative concepts, earning widespread praise from the public for its creativity and execution.

Among the highlights are the Underwater Fish Tunnel Expo and the Artificial Forest-Themed Park, both of which have drawn large crowds to the event.

The district administration, in collaboration with the forest department, has meticulously created an artificial forest-themed park at the Karavali Utsava grounds. The park has been lauded for its attention to detail and the evident effort put forth by the forest department.

The forest-themed park features a short underground tunnel with special lighting effects and artificial animal sounds, providing visitors with an immersive experience of a forest ecosystem. Enhancing the park's appeal are an artificial waterfall, a bridge, a seashore, depictions of village life and paddy fields, as well as Forest Department checkposts, all seamlessly integrated into the theme.

Another key attraction, the Underwater Fish Tunnel Expo, open daily from 4 pm to 9 pm, showcases a variety of fish species. Visitors can marvel at aquatic life through 10 large aquariums and four tunnel-shaped aquariums, offering a comprehensive view of underwater biodiversity.

Both the Forest-Themed Park and the Underwater Fish Tunnel Expo have become crowd favourites, particularly among children, who are thoroughly enjoying the unique and engaging experiences provided by the event.
