Udupi: Janardhan Kodavoor Bags Prize in State Photography Contest

Udupi, Dec 29: Janardhan Kodavoor, photojournalist of ‘Udayavani’ Kannada daily bagged the third prize in the Benu Sen Memorial state-level photography competition organized by ‘Chaya Chetana’, amateur photographers group, Shimoga, in the ‘adventure’ category.

Vincent of Mysore also bagged the third prize for his picture on nature.


M Mahesh of Shimoga bagged the first prize for his picture of grit and determination.  A N Prasanna of Chikmagalur bagged the second prize for persistent attempt.

Shiva Kumaraswamy of Honnali and V R Praveen Kumar of Mysore secured consolation prizes.
The prizes will be presented to the winners in Shimoga on Friday December 30.
