Mangalore: Dr Olinda Pereira Bags Outstanding Manager Award

Mangalore, Dec 29: Founder principal of Roshni Nilaya School of Social Work here, and founder director of Vishwas Trust, Dr Olinda Pereira, has bagged the ‘Outstanding Manager Award’ instituted by Mangalore Management Association for the year 2011.

The award was conferred on her by vice chancellor of Mangalorel University, Prof T S Shivashankara Murthy, at a function held at SDM College of Business Management in the city on Wednesday.

Association’s joint secretary, K Ramesh Rao, read out the citation. Treasurer, Edward J Coelho, executive committee members, Anantakrishna, Judith M R Mascarenhas, U Rama Rao, and former president, M M Kamath, jointly felicitated the awardee.

President of the association, T G Shenoy, welcomed. Immediate past president, Dr Devaraj K, spoke about the background of the association and the award. Deepa Nayak compered the programme. Secretary, R Lohidas, proposed vote of thanks.
