Mangaluru: Accidental misfire at second-hand bazaar leaves one injured

Mangaluru, Jan 7: A man sustained injuries following an accidental misfire from a revolver at a second-hand bazaar in Vamanjoor, on the outskirts of the city, on January 6.

The injured, identified as Safwan, mistook the revolver placed on a table in the outlet for a toy and accidentally shot himself in the stomach.

Safwan, who had visited the bazaar to purchase items, is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Padil.

The revolver was reportedly left on the table by a person named Bhaskar, leading to the unfortunate incident.
