Bantwal: Flossy Vittal, Sumati elected to lead ASHA workers’ union taluk committee

Bantwal, Jan 9: A convention of Bantwal Taluk ASHA Workers was held at B C Road Bharat Building, with notable attendees including B M Bhat, vice president of CITU, Dakshina Kannada district, K Yadava Shetty, president of Dakshina Kannada Farmers’ Association, Rekha Kudyadi, co-secretary of the Dakshina Kannada ASHA Workers’ Association, and Roopa Benjanapadavu, vice president, who provided valuable guidance.

During the event, the new taluk committee was elected. Flossy Vittal was elected as president, Ranjani Farangipete as vice president, and Sumati Benjanapadavu as chief secretary. Poornima, Roopa, Sneha, Muttamma, and Rajivi were elected as committee members.

Following the convention, a memorandum was submitted to the government through local officials, highlighting the demands of ASHA workers.
