Udupi: Mortal remains of missing fisherman recovered

Mangaluru, Jan 11: The mortal remains of fisherman Janardhana (41), who fell into the sea while fishing on January 5, were recovered on January 9 at the same spot where he had fallen.

Janardhana was employed on the Lambodara deep-sea fishing boat and was engaged in fishing on the night of January 5, approximately 10 nautical miles from the shore. He lost balance while pulling the fishing net and fell into the sea.

A case has been registered in connection with the incident at Malpe police station.
