Mumbai, Jan 13: Actor Anushka Sharma was spotted returning to Mumbai solo early Monday morning after a weekend getaway to Alibaug with her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli. While Anushka looked chic and effortlessly elegant in white trousers, a sleek black T-shirt, and black sunglasses, Virat Kohli was noticeably absent.

Anushka was seen aboard a speedboat, her hair left open, creating a relaxed yet stylish vibe as she made her way back to Mumbai. A video circulating on social media captured her entering a hotel near the Gateway of India, where she was greeted by photographers. Initially in a hurry, she later acknowledged them with a polite ‘thank you,’ signalling them to stop taking pictures.

The couple had travelled to Alibaug on Sunday, but Anushka made her way back alone early the next morning. In 2023, it was reported that Virat had invested Rs 6 cr in a lavish villa in Alibaug, with a 400 sq ft swimming pool. The villa's interiors were designed by Suzanne Khan, daughter of actor Sanjay Khan. Additionally, the couple reportedly purchased a farmhouse in Alibaug for Rs 19.24 cr.

Anushka and Virat, who met in 2013 during an ad shoot, tied the knot in a private ceremony in Italy in 2017. They are parents to a daughter, Vamika, born in January 2021, and recently welcomed their son in February 2024.

On the professional front, Anushka, who has been on a break from acting since her 2018 film Zero, is set to make her much-anticipated comeback with Chakda Xpress, a biopic on cricket legend Jhulan Goswami.
