Mangalore, Jan 2: The New Year eve enriched Konkani literature with two more books written in Kannada script and also Konkani music with one more CD.
At the end of the Mass, the Konkani books and CD release function was held at Milagres Church, Mangalore at 9.30 pm on Saturday December 31, 2011.
Fr Archibald Sequeira, vicar general of Bellary Diocese inaugurated the books by opening a basket containing the books and CD.
'Nimani Asha' a Konkani novel written by Konkani writer M P Rodrigues, 'Dudva Sansaar' collection of financial articles written by Konkani Writer, Machcha, Milaar
and the Konkani music CD 'Vozram Motiam' by Eric Ozario, Mandd Sobhann which was released in 70 places in India and abroad on December 31 were released during the ocassion.
Fr Walter D'Mello, parish priest of Milagres Church congratulated both the Konkani writers and honoured them with bouquets.
