Mangalore: Man from Bangalore Ends Life at Lodge

Bangalore, Jan 3: Nagaraja Rao (30), a resident of Bangalore, hanged himself in a city-based lodge on the night of Sunday January 1. The incident came to light on Monday.

Rao, who gave his address as 7th cross, 19th main, M Block, Bangalore, had hired a room in the said lodge, located in Bijai here, at around 8 pm on Saturday. On Monday, the hotel staff on cleaning duty found that he did not open the doors for long, when knocked. They peeped through the gap of the door, and found that his body was hanging from the ceiling fan.

The person is suspected to have come to the city with the specific intention of committing suicide, having been frustrated over some issue. A case of unnatural death was registered in Urva police station here.
