Chitrangda Singh wraps Up 'Housefull 5', says she'll miss the ‘Vibe’

Mumbai, Jan 18: Actress Chitrangda Singh has wrapped up shooting for the much-anticipated fifth instalment of the Housefull franchise, expressing her mixed emotions about bidding farewell to the project.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Chitrangda shared a heartfelt video of herself getting ready as her character for the last time.

In the clip, she said, “This is the end of Housefull. Today is my last day. I am feeling a bit emotional... Happy emotions. I am going to miss this vibe. Getting ready for my character for the last time. Good vibes only.”

She captioned the video with gratitude, writing: “Thank youuu so much everyone #Housefull5.”

Earlier, on January 15, the actress shared a light-hearted moment from the sets, posting a video of a monkey enjoying a banana during lunchtime. In the clip, she whispered, “He got a banana… His mouth is already full, look at him eat my god.”

Chitrangda joined the star-studded cast of Housefull 5, which includes Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, and Pooja Hegde. The film reunites her with Akshay after their work together in Desi Boyz and Khel Khel Mein.

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 follows the legacy of the franchise that began in 2010. While Sajid Khan helmed the first two instalments, Farhad Samji directed the third and fourth.

The Housefull series, known for its comedy and vibrant ensemble casts, has seen enormous success, with each instalment adding its unique flavour.

Chitrangda was last seen in Gaslight (2023), a mystery-thriller directed by Pavan Kirpalani. The film starred Vikrant Massey and Sara Ali Khan alongside her.

With Housefull 5, fans eagerly await to see what this power-packed cast brings to the screen this time.
