Bhatkal: BMYF Wins Honnavar District Level Cricket Tourney

Bhatkal, Jan 4: Bhatkal Mulim Youth Federation (BMYF) won the district level cricket tournament beating Tulsi Honnavar by 62 runs in the final match played recently.

BMYf won the toss and elected to bat and set a tough target of 208 runs for 6 in 20 over. Nahrullah scored the highest run 64 in just 38 balls and Mahammed Ali scored 40 in just 23 balls.

Chasing the target of 209 run Tulsi Honnavar could manage to score only 146 run in 20 over for the loss of 6 wickets.

The winners were awarded a trophy and cash prize of Rs 25,000 and the runners up received trophy and a cash prize of Rs 15,000.

Mankal Vadiya was the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the tourney, where in a total of 18  teams were participated.

Best players of  the match were:

Man of the match: Nasrullah of BMYF
Man of the series: Nufail Hallare of BMYF
Best batsmen: Nufail Hallare of BMYF
Best bowler: Gaffar of BMYF
