Puttur: Two-wheeler Rider Killed in Accident

Puttur, Jan 5: The rider of a Kinetic Honda two-wheeler vehicle died on the spot on Wednesday January 4, after his vehicle was hit by a lorry. The incident occurred on national highway 75 near Uppinangady.

The deceased has been identified as Balakrishna Bhat (55) from Enjira in Rekhya village in the taluk. Bhat was moving in his vehicle towards Uppinangady, when the lorry which came from behind, knocked him down.

Police sub-inspector (traffc), Nagesh Kadri, visited the spot. A case stands registered in this connection.
