Mangaluru: St Agnes College organizes capacity building session for II-year BBA students

Mangaluru, Jan 28: The department of business administration (BBA) at St Agnes College organized a capacity building session titled ‘Harnessing the Right Mindset’ for the II-year BBA students on January 27.

The resource speaker was Preetham Kamath, a facilitator, behavioural trainer, and counsellor. The programme aimed to inspire students to embrace a growth-oriented mindset and equip them with skills to face challenges with resilience and adaptability. She addressed the students with a thought-provoking message, emphasizing the importance of developing the right mindset as the foundation for both personal and professional growth. She highlighted on the value of resilience, teamwork, and creativity, encouraging students to step out of their comfort zones and view challenges as opportunities for learning.

To make the session more interactive and impactful, group activities were conducted to help students understand how to harness the right mindset effectively. She further stressed the importance of nurturing self-awareness and building meaningful relationships and also elaborated on how understanding one and others can lead to effective collaboration and better problem-solving. Additionally, she underscored the significance of having a clear vision for the future and aligning one’s efforts to achieve it.

The event began with a soulful prayer song by Candice, followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Carol. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Sameeksha from II BBA, who expressed her gratitude to the resource person, faculty members, and students for their enthusiastic participation. This impactful session left a lasting impression on the students, motivating them to cultivate a positive mindset and embrace growth as a continuous process.
