Kanwaljit singh fulfils long-standing dream with ‘Bada Naam Karenge’

Mumbai, Jan 31: Veteran actor Kanwaljit Singh, who is set to appear in the upcoming streaming series Bada Naam Karenge, has finally realised his dream of working with Rajshri Productions after a journey spanning over five decades in cinema.

The series, which explores love that defies expectations and redefines family bonds, marks a special milestone in Kanwaljit’s illustrious career. Expressing his joy, the actor shared, "I have been in the industry for over 40 years, and working with Rajshri Productions has always been a dream. Their storytelling, values, and commitment to meaningful cinema have always inspired me. Playing Anand Raathi, a character filled with love, wisdom, and deep-rooted values, is an honour."

He further added, "This story will touch hearts, bring smiles, and perhaps even a few tears. It beautifully captures love, family, and traditions, and I’m proud to be a part of it."

Kanwaljit essays the pivotal role of Anand Raathi in the series, which is produced by Rajshri Productions with Sooraj R. Barjatya as the showrunner. Directed by Palash Vaswani, Bada Naam Karenge also features Ritik Ghanshani, Ayesha Kaduskar, Alka Amin, Rajesh Jais, Chitrali Lokesh, Deepika Amin, Jameel Khan, Rajesh Tailang, Anjana Sukhani, and others.

Set to premiere on Sony LIV, the series will begin streaming from February 7.
