Genelia Deshmukh celebrates Pune United's Pickleball title win, reflects on personal milestones

Mumbai, Feb 2: Actress Genelia Deshmukh, co-owner of the World Pickleball League-winning team Pune United, is celebrating her team's victory in the latest season. The actress, who co-owns the team with her husband, actor Riteish Deshmukh, expressed her pride on Instagram after the finals. Pune United’s official page shared a picture from the victory, captioning it: "Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. In the toughest moments, this team always showed up, and we gave it our all. It doesn’t get better than this."

Genelia, who has recently been active on social media sharing snippets of her personal and fitness journey, had earlier documented her weight loss transformation. She posted a video from her gym workouts, highlighting her progress as she shed weight over a few weeks. She thanked her trainer, sharing a heartfelt birthday wish for him on Instagram.

In a candid post, Genelia also revealed a tattoo on her hand representing her family: three R’s and a heartbeat, symbolizing her husband Riteish and their two sons, Riaan and Rahyl.

On the personal front, the actress and Riteish, who tied the knot on February 3, 2012, are parents to two sons. As Genelia celebrates her professional and personal achievements, she is also preparing for her upcoming projects. She stars in the upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par alongside Aamir Khan and Darsheel Safary and has the Telugu movie Junior lined up.
