Tulu Koota Kuwait to host ‘The Kapikad Show’ on Feb 25

Kuwait, Feb 9: Tulu Koota Kuwait is set to present a laughter-filled evening with "The Kapikad Show", featuring renowned Tulu comedian and actor Dr Devadas Kapikad. The event will take place on February 25 at the Indian Community School, Khaitan, Kuwait.

Dr Devadas Kapikad, a celebrated actor, director, writer, producer, lyricist, and singer, is well known for his drama troupe Cha-parka and his contributions to Tulu theatre. His signature style of comedy has captivated audiences for years, and this live performance promises an evening of rib-tickling entertainment.

As Tulu Koota Kuwait marks its 25th anniversary under the theme “25 Years of Unity – Commitment to Tulu Language, Culture, and Community,” the association continues its dedication to preserving and promoting Tulu culture, social welfare, and education. To commemorate this milestone, the Tulu Koota Kuwait Silver Jubilee Merit Scholarship Scheme has been launched to support meritorious students from government schools in remote areas of Tulu Nadu.

Proceeds from "The Kapikad Show" will go towards this scholarship initiative, reinforcing the association’s commitment to education. The event aims to offer not only an evening of fun and laughter but also an opportunity for the community to contribute to a noble cause.
