Mangaluru: St Aloysius Gonzaga School organizes ‘Jyothi Pradhan’ ceremony for class X, XII

Mangaluru, Feb 14: St Aloysius Gonzaga School organized ‘Jyothi Pradaan’ ceremony for the outgoing students of class X and XII 2024-25 batches on February 4. The chief guest of the programme Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto SJ, rector of St Aloysius Institutions, emphasized and motivated the students to strive for excellence and create a positive impact wherever they go.

The principal Fr Melwin Anil Lobo SJ addressed the students by wishing them well and inspired them to be the best version of themselves. The programme began with a short prayer service. Students were given diyas as a symbol of spreading knowledge wherever they go.

Prishel Vian Rodrigues of class X and Chryss Bosco Saldanha of class XII shared their feelings and memories on behalf of all the students. Vice principal Laurel D’Souza and teacher Shruthi Kishore expressed their thoughts. Savitha D’Souza the parent of Russel Thomas Felix, and Maria Preethi Menezes, parent of Leisha Pritika Menezes, expressed their gratitude to the management and the staff.

The rector presented a token of appreciation to Vardhaan V Kamath, Shravyamani S Shetty and Jordan James Austin who studied in the school right from class I to class XII, followed by memento distribution to class X and XII students. The programme coordinators were Jisha V Thomas, Shilpa R Ballal, Sandhya Manoj and Shruthi Kishore.
