Mumbai, Jan 13: B-Town's chocolate boy, actor Imran Khan, turned 29 year-old on Thursday, January 13. Imran also celebrated his first wedding anniversary on January 10. The actor married longtime girlfriend Avantika Malik in Mumbai in 2011.

As it is time for a double celebration, Imran said that he would be busy promoting his film 'Ek Main Aur Ek Tu' with co-star Kareena Kapoor. Imran earlier had plans of celebrating his birthday and first wedding anniversary in his refurbished home located at 24 Pali Hill in Bandra. But due to renovation work, the couple had to push the plans.

“We had actually thought that it would have been ready, and the interiors done, by the end of 2011. Now, we will be shifting in July this year, once I finish shooting for Vishal’s (Vishal Bhardwaj’s Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola) film,” says Imran, who currently resides at a plush apartment at Hill Road.

A source close to the star said, “Imran is completely focused on Vishal’s film right now and once the film starts, he wouldn’t want to divert any attention to anything else. That’s why he’s pushed moving till after the film’s shoot is over.” Imran had grown up at the Pali Hill bungalow. The place belonged to his late grandfather, filmmaker Nasir Hussain. Since the Khan family is very attached to the bungalow, they didn’t want to redo the entire place.

On his birthday, Imran gifted himself a luxurious Ferrari worth a fortune.

Khan started his journey in bollywood with the film 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na' along side Genelia D'Souza in the year 2008. He also made appearances as a child artist in his uncle Aamir's films, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988) and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander (1992).
