Chennai, Feb 21: Actress Keerthy Suresh has lauded Dhanush’s latest directorial venture, ‘Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam’ (NEEK), calling it a fresh and light film that once again carries Dhanush’s signature Midas touch.
Hours before the film’s theatrical release, Keerthy took to social media to express her admiration for the film and its cast.
"Just watched #NEEK! What a fresh and light film this is! Yet again, @dhanushkraja sir, you’ve created something new with your Midas touch. It was so lovely to watch all these actors on screen!" she wrote on her X (formerly Twitter) handle.
Keerthy Suresh also took the time to compliment the film’s actors, especially lead actor Pavish, whom she compared to Dhanush himself.
"#Pavish, you remind me of Dhanush sir—right from your smile to your actions and even your voice! What a way to mark your debut," she wrote.
She also had special mentions for other actors in the film:
• "Mathew Thomas—your character will be remembered."
• "Anikha Surendran, you were too cute."
• "Rabiya, you were just lovely."
• "Priya Varrier, you were as always pretty."
• "And not to miss the cutest cameo of Priyanka Mohan."
She further appreciated the film’s dance sequences, praising RsquaredRams for his performance and sent her best wishes to the entire NEEK team.
Keerthy Suresh is not the first to appreciate Dhanush’s work on NEEK. Earlier, actor S.J. Suryah and director Mari Selvaraj had also showered praise on the film and its storytelling.
‘NEEK’ features an ensemble cast including Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan.
The film is directed by Dhanush and produced by his parents, Kasthoori Raja and Vijayalakshmi Kasthoori Raja, under the Wunderbar Films banner.
The music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, while Leon Britto has handled cinematography, and GK Prasanna has worked on editing.
Malayalam actress Priya Prakash Varrier makes her Tamil film debut with this project, while Priyanka Arul Mohan makes a special cameo appearance in the song ‘Golden Sparrow’.
