Los Angeles, Feb 28: In an unexpected setback, global music sensation Justin Timberlake was forced to cancel the final show of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour in the US due to health concerns. The announcement came just hours before his scheduled performance in Columbus, Ohio.
Taking to Instagram, the 44-year-old singer expressed his heartbreak over the cancellation.
“You guys, I’m heartbroken. I have to cancel the show tonight,” Timberlake said.
He revealed that he had been struggling with the flu and, despite trying to push through, his condition had worsened.
“It kills me to disappoint you and my team who worked so hard to make this show happen. I want to reassure you; you’ll be getting refunds for your tickets. I love you all,” he added.
Fans responded with understanding and support, with one commenting, “I flew in from CA but you know what… your health comes first. True fans know that. Love you. Feel better.”
This is not the first-time health issues have disrupted Timberlake’s tour. The Columbus show had already been postponed in late October after he was diagnosed with bronchitis and laryngitis. At the time, he reassured fans that he would reschedule the affected dates.
Timberlake first announced his Forget Tomorrow World Tour during a January 2024 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he also introduced his single Selfish and unveiled details of his latest album.
His newest album, Everything I Thought It Was, was released in March, marking his first studio album since 2018’s Man in the Woods.
