Mangaluru, Mar 7: The Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) has issued a directive for the immediate removal of unauthorized flex banners and hoardings that have been put up illegally along roadsides, circles, and footpaths within its jurisdiction.

In an official statement, the corporation commissioner emphasized that the action is being taken in the interest of public safety, traffic management, and maintaining the city's aesthetics.

Officials have been instructed to clear all such unauthorized banners at the earliest.

The MCC has also warned that if individuals or organizations fail to comply, the corporation will initiate a removal drive and take strict legal action against those responsible for installing unauthorized hoardings.

Moment and tre is cut people appear with cameras eventually people are fined. Some time back street hawkers were removed with big propaganda. Every one knows after a week they will be back and they are back. A lot of good work is going on around the city. My best wishes to the authorities for their good work
