Amitabh Bachchan praises Abhishek’s performance in ‘Be Happy’

Mumbai, Mar 15: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has heaped praise on his son Abhishek Bachchan for his exceptional performance in the latest release, Be Happy.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Amitabh expressed his pride, writing, “T 5317...what an honour for you Abhishek... proud of you... and today saw BE HAPPY... such an extraordinary performance... love you.”

Directed by Remo D’Souza, Be Happy is a dance drama that premiered on March 14. The film, produced under Remo D’Souza Entertainment Pvt Ltd by Lizelle, also stars Nora Fatehi, Inayat Verma, Nassar, Johny Lever, and Harleen Sethi. It is streaming exclusively on Prime Video.

The film tells the heartwarming story of Shiv, a devoted single father, and his determined daughter, Dhara, who dreams of performing on a prestigious dance reality show. Faced with an unexpected crisis, Shiv embarks on an emotional journey to keep his daughter's dream alive, rediscovering himself in the process.

Amitabh had earlier wished Abhishek success for Be Happy and Ghoomer, which was screened at the Tashkent Film Festival.
