Mumbai, Mar 16: Veteran actor Gajraj Rao’s latest web series, Dupahiya, is earning widespread appreciation. The Badhaai Ho star recently gave fans a sneak peek behind the scenes, sharing candid moments from the shoot on Instagram.

In the first picture, co-star Renuka Shahane is seen playfully posing in front of a scarecrow, while the next captures a cheerful selfie of the duo. His post also includes stills featuring the Dupahiya team and posters from the acclaimed series.

Reflecting on the experience, Gajraj wrote, "The weather was hot and humid during the shoot, but Renuka ji’s ever-present smile and positivity kept our spirits high. Have you started watching Dupahiya yet? Now streaming on @primevideoin."

 

Adding to the buzz, filmmaker Farah Khan took to Instagram Stories to praise the show. She described it as "a beautiful, light-hearted watch with a simple plot, delightful characters, and great humor."

The ensemble cast includes Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Bhuvan Arora, Sparsh Shrivastava, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Yashpal Sharma. Directed by Sonam Nair, Dupahiya is produced by Salona Bains Joshi and Shubh Shivdasani under Bombay Film Cartel, with Avinash Dwivedi and Chirag Garg as creators and writers.

Set in a peaceful village, the story unfolds when a prized motorbike goes missing, leading to chaos as the villagers scramble to recover it before an upcoming wedding and jubilee trophy ceremony.

Streaming now on Amazon Prime Video, Dupahiya premiered on March 7, 2025.
