Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Mar 19: The SSLC annual examinations are scheduled to take place from March 21 to April 4 across 51 examination centers in the district. During these days, prohibitory orders will be in effect around the exam centers to ensure a smooth and fair examination process.

Students appearing for the exams must not wear attire that hinders identification. They must cooperate with the frisking staff and room invigilators for mandatory security checks. All candidates will be subjected to hand-held metal detector screening before entering the exam hall. Carrying metal water bottles or non-transparent water bottles inside the exam hall is strictly prohibited.

Electronic gadgets, including mobile/cellular phones, tablets, pen drives, Bluetooth devices, smartwatches, calculators, and log tables, are banned inside the exam hall. Other restricted items include handbags, purses, notes, torches, and recording devices. Candidates using hearing aid devices must undergo a special medical inspection at least two hours before the exam, with valid medical documents.

The dress code prescribed by the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) for its examinations will also be applicable for SSLC exams, as per a joint statement issued by the district administration.
