Panaji, Mar 19: In a major boost for civil services aspirants in the state, Goa University is set to launch a dedicated coaching centre for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examinations. The initiative aims to provide quality training and resources to Goan students, giving them an edge in one of the country’s toughest competitive exams.

The coaching centre will offer structured guidance, expert faculty support, and study materials to help aspirants prepare effectively. The move aligns with the state government's efforts to encourage more Goan candidates to pursue careers in the civil services.

Officials stated that the centre will function with the support of experienced mentors and offer specialized training programs, including mock tests and interview preparation. The initiative is expected to bridge the gap for students who previously had to rely on out-of-state coaching centres for their UPSC preparation.

Further details regarding admissions, eligibility, and course structure are expected to be announced soon.
