Sanaa, Mar 20: The United States has launched a new round of airstrikes targeting multiple locations in Yemen, including the capital, Sanaa, and other provinces, as tensions in the region continue to escalate.
According to defense officials, the strikes were aimed at military installations linked to the Houthi rebels, who have been engaged in ongoing hostilities in the region. The latest offensive comes as part of Washington’s efforts to counter threats posed by the Iran-backed group, which has been accused of attacking international shipping routes and escalating regional instability.

The extent of damage and casualties from the strikes remains unclear. However, sources indicate that key Houthi strongholds and military infrastructure were among the primary targets.
The airstrikes mark another escalation in the conflict, raising concerns about further destabilization in the region. The US government has reiterated its stance on protecting global security interests while urging diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation.
