Patna, Mar 21: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has hit out at Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar over his controversial statement claiming that the Earth would cease to exist in the next 10 years.

Addressing a gathering, Kumar made the startling claim, which quickly sparked reactions from political circles. Tejashwi wasted no time in criticizing the CM, calling his statement "bizarre" and questioning his governance priorities.

"Instead of focusing on real issues like unemployment, education, and healthcare, Nitish Kumar is making absurd statements. The people of Bihar need development, not doomsday predictions," Tejashwi remarked.

The remark has triggered widespread discussions on social media, with many mocking the CM’s statement. Meanwhile, JD(U) leaders have defended Kumar, stating that his words were misinterpreted and taken out of context.
