Mumbai, Mar 25: A fresh FIR has been registered against Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, actors Rhea Chakraborty, Dino Morea, Suraj Pancholi, and several others in connection with the death of celebrity manager Disha Salian, advocate Nilesh Ojha confirmed on Tuesday.
Ojha, representing Disha’s father, Satish Salian, stated that a written complaint had been filed with the Mumbai Police Commissioner’s office and was subsequently accepted by the Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime). The FIR includes serious allegations against Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, Suraj Pancholi, and his bodyguard, as well as former police officials Parambir Singh and Sachin Vaze.

Ojha accused Parambir Singh of orchestrating a cover-up to protect Aaditya Thackeray, claiming that Singh deliberately misled the public in a press conference. He further alleged that the Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) probe had established Aaditya Thackeray’s involvement in the drug trade, which has now been referenced in the FIR.
The advocate also stated that former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his associates conspired to suppress the case. According to him, senior police officers manipulated official records, suppressed key witnesses, and destroyed evidence to shield those involved. He has urged authorities to prosecute the accused under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including charges of conspiracy, destruction of evidence, and criminal misconduct.
The fresh FIR comes after Satish Salian recently petitioned the High Court, demanding a CBI investigation into his daughter’s death. He maintains that Disha was raped and murdered and has directly accused Aaditya Thackeray of involvement.
Disha Salian, who was previously the manager of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, died on June 8, 2020, after allegedly falling from the 14th floor of a high-rise building in Mumbai. At the time, the Mumbai Police had registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR). Just six days later, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra residence, triggering widespread speculation and multiple investigations. While the CBI is probing Sushant’s death, the Maharashtra government formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in 2023 to reinvestigate Disha’s case.
The case continues to be a subject of intense scrutiny, with renewed calls for justice and transparency.
