Mumbai, Mar 28: The wait is over! After years of speculation, the much-loved Indian superhero franchise ‘Krrish’ is all set to make a grand comeback. In a surprising twist, Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan will not only reprise his iconic superhero role but also take the director’s seat for ‘Krrish 4’.

Backed by renowned filmmaker Aditya Chopra, this fourth installment promises to be the most ambitious chapter in the franchise yet.

The journey began in 2003 with ‘Koi... Mil Gaya’, followed by ‘Krrish’ (2006) and ‘Krrish 3’ (2013), all directed by Rakesh Roshan. Now, the baton has been passed to Hrithik.

Expressing his pride, Rakesh Roshan stated, “Hrithik has lived, breathed, and dreamt about this franchise since its inception. He has a clear and ambitious vision to take ‘Krrish’ forward.”

Another exciting development is Aditya Chopra joining as the producer. “Adi and Yash Raj Films bring expertise and technology that will add immense value to ‘Krrish 4’,” Rakesh Roshan added.

Currently, Hrithik is busy with ‘War 2’, set to wrap up by April 2025. ‘Krrish 4’ is expected to go on floors by mid-2025, with a mix of Indian and international locations to elevate its scale.
