Mumbai, Apr 3: Talented young cricketer Yashasvi Jaiswal has revealed the reasons behind his decision to leave Mumbai and represent Goa in the upcoming Indian domestic season. The 23-year-old batsman, who has been a promising star in the domestic cricket circuit, stated that Goa provided him with a significant opportunity which he couldn’t refuse.
According to reports, Jaiswal has officially written to the Mumbai Cricket Association, seeking a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to make the transition. Speaking about his decision, Jaiswal said, “Every cricketer aims for consistent opportunities to showcase their skills. Goa offered me a platform where I can enhance my game and gain more exposure. It was a tough decision, but one that I believe is important for my growth.”
Jaiswal, known for his impressive performances in the IPL and domestic tournaments, added that he is excited about the new chapter in his career and looks forward to contributing significantly to Goa's success.
The cricketing fraternity has shown mixed reactions to Jaiswal’s move, but the young talent remains optimistic and determined to make the most of this new opportunity.
