Los Angeles, Apr 5: Grammy award-winning rapper Eminem has reached a new milestone in his personal life as he becomes a grandfather for the first time.

His daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, 29, and her husband Evan McClintock recently welcomed their baby boy, Elliot Marshall McClintock. The couple announced the joyous news on Instagram, sharing the first picture of their newborn, dressed in a light blue hooded sweater.

The photo also featured a board reading “Elliot Marshall McClintock 03.14.25”, with the middle name paying tribute to Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers.

“Happy due date // 3 weeks earthside little,” Hailie captioned the post, celebrating her son's early arrival.

According to 'People' magazine, Hailie had spoken about her excitement to become a mother in a recent episode of her podcast Just a Little Shady. “It’s so weird to think about… I can't even wrap my head around it,” she said, reflecting on the journey to meet her son. “What’s he gonna look like? What’s his personality gonna be? It’s strange but super exciting.”

Hailie had kept much of her pregnancy private but gave fans a few special glimpses. In October 2024, she shared a sneak peek of the baby’s nursery. The following month, she revealed the baby's gender in a heartwarming moment during the podcast, where she popped a balloon filled with blue confetti. “When we found out, Evan was like, ‘They’re going to hunt with me... I’ve got a little buddy,’” she laughed.

Meanwhile, Eminem expressed his excitement about becoming a grandfather. In October 2024, he released an emotional music video for his song Temporary, which included clips from home videos of Hailie as a child. The video ended with the touching moment she revealed her pregnancy to him.
