Sullia, Apr 6: In a shocking act of recklessness, a group of six youths were caught on video performing dangerous stunts atop a moving car on the Mani-Mysuru Highway near Sullia. The video, which has gone viral, has triggered widespread outrage, with the public demanding stringent action against the offenders.
The footage shows two youths standing through the sunroof of a speeding car while two others hang out from the rear doors on either side. Another two youths are seen emerging from the front passenger doors, all of them blatantly disregarding road safety and endangering not only their own lives but also that of other road users.

The car was reportedly traveling at high speed from Sampaje towards Sullia when the dangerous stunt was filmed by motorists following the vehicle. Authorities have been urged to identify the individuals and initiate legal action for violation of traffic laws, endangering public safety, and creating a public nuisance.
Police sources indicate that such acts could attract serious charges under the Motor Vehicles Act and the Indian Penal Code, including reckless driving, creating obstruction on public roads, and risking human life.
Public safety advocates have stressed that such behaviour must not be tolerated, warning that incidents like these could lead to fatal accidents if left unchecked.
Law enforcement agencies are expected to act swiftly, given the overwhelming public demand for accountability.
