Dubai, Apr 9: ACME, a building materials supply company that has been operating in Arab countries for 25 years under the leadership of managing director Harish Sherigar, will present 'Sandalwood to Bollywood' - a music, dance and comedy event on Saturday, April 12 at Swiss International School Al-Jadaf in Dubai. The event is being organized by Precious Parties & International Services LLC.
Entry to the event is free, with gates opening at 6 PM. Organizers have stated that early arrivals will be given priority seating.





The programme will feature:
- Dance performances by Dubai-based group 'Soul & Beats VM Crew'
- A Tulu comedy drama titled 'Gammate Gammat' directed by Vishwanath Shetty and performed by Dubai artistes
The musical evening will see performances by noted singers including Harish Sherigar, Nayana Rajgopal, Naveed Magundi, Akshata Rao, Joseph Mathias, Gunashil Shetty, Vignesh, Suresh Devadiga, Dr Pushparaj Shetty and Sannithi Shetty.
This marks ACME's return to cultural events after 10 years. The company previously organized several successful shows in Dubai including 'Doom Dhamaka' in 2011 featuring Swapnil and VIP, shows with Krishna and Sudesh in 2013, and a comedy performance by Johnny Lever and his daughter Jamie Lever in 2015. The last 'Sandalwood to Bollywood' event was held in 2014.
Harish Sherigar, managing director of ACME, said, "ACME is once again organizing the grand musical event 'From Sandalwood to Bollywood'. This program will provide excellent entertainment with melodious songs from Bollywood and Sandalwood performed by renowned artists, along with attractive dances and comedy performances. As before, the event is being organized for a noble cause. The proceeds will be reserved for the poor and destitute. The generosity and valuable support of sponsors has played a major role in the success of previous programs, and we need everyone's cooperation to make this edition successful too."
All proceeds from previous events were donated to charitable causes.
