Mumbai, Apr 16: Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan took to his personal blog once again to share profound reflections on values, discipline, time, and the enduring spirit of human will — subjects close to his heart that continue to resonate with generations of fans.
“Each learning is a day lived,” the megastar wrote, emphasizing how every generation, including today’s youth, holds lessons that can shape one’s understanding of life. He stressed that values — or sanskaar — go beyond material gain and represent the ethical and refined behaviours passed down by our ancestors.

"Sanskaar lives an eternal life," he penned poetically, describing it as a spiritual compass that guides conduct — the “how, when, and where” of human behaviour. According to Bachchan, these inherited values transcend time and space, embodying something far greater than societal norms.
The veteran actor also shared his thoughts on the nature of time, highlighting a paradox many face: when time is limited, more work is achieved, but when time appears abundant, procrastination sets in. “When there is paucity of time, strangely the maximum work gets accomplished,” he noted. “When no paucity of time, work never even gets a start.”
Candidly acknowledging his own struggles, Bachchan admitted to being a "victim of time on hand," adding that the will to act must ultimately triumph over inertia. “Will shall be the strength… And that is the strength I work upon,” he affirmed.
In a lighter vein, the superstar had also shared a humorous observation on April 15, calling internet searches one of the “most worthless activities” during the day, blaming the distractions they cause. His remark reflected the modern-day challenge of staying focused amid digital noise.
As always, Bachchan’s introspective musings offered a blend of philosophical wisdom and self-awareness, leaving readers with much to ponder about life, discipline, and the ever-ticking clock.
