Diljit Dosanjh wraps ‘Sardaar Ji 3’ shoot, sets Jun 27 as release date

Mumbai, Apr 23: Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh has officially wrapped up filming for the much-anticipated Sardaar Ji 3, announcing that the film will hit theaters on June 27.
Taking to Instagram, Diljit posted a series of cool biker-themed photos along with a heartfelt note:

“Sardaar Ji 3 Releasing 27th June. Finally, shoot finish ho geya. Sari team ne baut mehnat kiti aa… Baba bhaag lavey. Milde an theaters ch BOOOOOOO… MAIN TAN DAR GI.”

The Sardaar Ji franchise holds a special place in Punjabi cinema, known for blending fantasy, horror, and comedy with massive box office success.

Quick Recap of the Franchise:

• Sardaar Ji (2015): A ghostbuster named Jaggi (played by Diljit) is sent to London to drive away a ghost, only to fall hilariously in love with her. It became one of the highest-opening Punjabi films ever.

• Sardaar Ji 2 (2016): Diljit pulled off a triple role as a farmer battling financial stress, encountering a world of crime overseas. The film co-starred Monica Gill and Sonam Bajwa.
What’s Next for Diljit?

After making waves in Amar Singh Chamkila, Diljit will also be seen in Punjab '95, a period drama based on human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, co-starring Arjun Rampal and Suvinder Vicky.
