Ayodhya, May 2: The first floor of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is likely to be opened to the public from June 4, a day after the Pran Pratishtha of the Ram Darbar begins on June 3.
The consecration of the Ram Darbar, which will feature Lord Ram in his ‘King’ form, will conclude on June 5. This follows the earlier grand ceremony in January where Ram Lalla was consecrated in the sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor.

As part of the elaborate setup, 18 idols including that of Lord Ram will be installed on the first floor by May 23. The idol of Laxman ji is also expected to be installed in the Sheshavtar temple by May 30, officials said.
Nripendra Mishra, chairman of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Construction Committee, visited the temple site on Friday to review ongoing work. He informed the media that the main temple structure would be handed over by August or September, while the Parakota (temple boundary) would be completed by November.
He added that idol installations have already started in the Parakota and Sapta Mandirs, and restrictions will be in place for darshan to ensure smooth flow of devotees. Only 750 devotees per day will be issued passes for the Ram Darbar on the first floor, with 50 passes available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Mishra also said that all construction work, except for the auditorium and boundary, is expected to be completed by December 2025. Facilities like the Yatri Suvidha Kendra and Sewage Treatment Plant being built by the Bhawan Nirman Samiti will also be handed over to the trust once completed.
