Mangaluru: Job abroad scam - Pvt firm accused of cheating job seekers of Rs 1.82 cr

Mangaluru, May 4: A private firm based in Kankanady, Mangaluru, has been accused of cheating a job aspirant of Rs 1.65 lac under the pretext of offering employment abroad.

According to the complaint, the firm allegedly collected around Rs 1.82 crore from multiple individuals by promising overseas job opportunities.

However it failed to deliver either employment or refund the money, resulting in financial fraud.

An investigation is underway based on the complaint.
