New York, May 6: Global icon and Bollywood's pride, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, set the red carpet ablaze at the MET Gala 2025, exuding old-school Hollywood glamour with a striking retro look that left fans and fashion critics in awe.
Styled by Olivier Rousteing of the famed fashion house Balmain, Priyanka graced the gala’s theme this year — “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” — in a classic white halter-neck gown adorned with bold black polka dots. A cinched black belt and sleek buttons down the front added a structured edge to the elegant silhouette. Complementing her look was a dramatic wide-brim black hat and an eye-catching emerald green necklace, evoking the essence of timeless vintage style.
Sharing glimpses of her ensemble on Instagram, the actress simply captioned it, “MET 2025.” She also gave fans a sneak peek into her glam routine, posting a video with the caption: “Sneak peek of a new @maxfactor product for the perfect glow #MetGala.”
Accompanying Priyanka was husband and global music sensation Nick Jonas, who looked suave in black trousers and an ivory shirt, elevated by a chic tied scarf — a nod to classic menswear with a modern twist.
The star-studded gala, held annually at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, is co-chaired this year by Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and fashion icon Anna Wintour. Sporting stars like Simone Biles and Angel Reese, along with singers such as Usher and Doechii, featured on the host committee.
