Hyderabad, May 7: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will lead a rally in Hyderabad on Thursday to express solidarity with the Indian Army following its recent strikes on terror hideouts in Pakistan. The rally, set to commence at 6 pm, will start from the secretariat and conclude at Necklace Road, a central location in the city. Ministers, MLAs, and various leaders will join the rally to show their support for the armed forces.
The Chief Minister has urged the youth to actively participate in the rally to stand with the Indian Army. He, along with deputy chief minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, conducted a review of the arrangements for the rally and discussed the security measures needed in the wake of ‘Operation Sindoor,’ the recent action by the Indian defense forces, and a mock drill conducted on Wednesday.

To ensure public safety, CM Reddy has instructed officials to implement strict security measures throughout the state, with special attention given to the Army, Navy, and all defense establishments in Hyderabad. He further directed police officials to increase surveillance at key locations, including the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, foreign consulates, and embassies in the city.
Additionally, to safeguard foreign tourists, adequate protection will be arranged, and state intelligence teams have been tasked with coordinating with central agencies to monitor the situation closely through a new information center at the Integrated Command Control Centre.
In light of these security developments, the Chief Minister has ordered the cancellation of leaves for employees in emergency services departments, and directed all ministers and officials to be present and cancel any foreign travel plans. Efforts will also be made to ensure a continuous supply of essential commodities and avoid any disruptions to the supply chain.
The Chief Minister has emphasized coordination among all departments to ensure the safety and well-being of the public during these heightened security measures.
