Udupi, May 12: Rakesh Poojary Hoode, a popular artist known for his performances in the Kannada reality show Comedy Khiladi, passed away late on Sunday< May 11 night due to a sudden cardiac arrest. He was 33.

Rakesh gained widespread recognition and fame through his comedic roles on Comedy Khiladi, a reality show aired on a private Kannada entertainment channel. He was appreciated for his natural comic timing and versatile performances, which made him a household name among viewers.

On the night of Sunday, May 11, he had attended a mehendi function of a friend in Karkala, where he reportedly collapsed and breathed his last.

Rakesh Poojary was also the winner of Comedy Khiladi.
