45-year-old killed in hit-and-run near Ghatkopar station

Mumbai, May 13: A 45-year-old worker, identified as Sanjay Mahamuni, lost his life in a hit-and-run accident near Ghatkopar station on Sunday.

Mahamuni, who is survived by his wife and two daughters, was struck by an unidentified vehicle that fled the scene immediately after the incident. The tragedy has left his family in deep shock.

The Ghatkopar police have registered a case against the unknown driver for causing death due to negligence and are currently working to trace the vehicle involved.

Efforts are ongoing to gather CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts to aid the investigation.
