Final tribute paid to the late circle inspector Nanjappa at Kundapur CI office

Kundapur, May 22: A solemn tribute was paid to the late circle inspector Nanjappa, who passed away due to ill health, at the Kundapur CI office.

The final rites were conducted with full state honours under the leadership of Kundapur DYSP H D Kulkarni, who oversaw all arrangements for the official farewell.

Kundapur MLA Kiran Kodgi, former MLA Haladi Srinivas Shetty, Town Municipal Council president Mohan Das Shenoy, Congress leader Dinesh Hegde Molahalli, and several other dignitaries visited the venue to pay their final respects.

As a mark of honour, the police fired three rounds in the air, paying the traditional police tribute to their departed colleague.

Circle inspectors from various subdivisions under the Kundapur division, sub-inspectors from all police stations, police personnel, and members of the public participated in the final tribute ceremony.
