Bhopal, Jan 24: 15-year-old Kanika Tiwari, a 10th std student of Sharda Vidya Mandir in Bhopal is a lucky girl. She was selected to perform the role of superstar Hrithik Roshan's sister in the much-talked about 'Agneepath' movie, which is due for release on Republic Day Thursday.
Kanika was selected from around 7000 girls who auditioned for the important role.
'Agneepath' is the remake of the 1990 movie of the same name, starring Amitabh Bachchan. Hrithik Roshan dons the lead role in the character of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, which was earlier played by Big B. However, reports say that the new character has lots of dissimilarities with the original.
This is life-changing achievement for 15-year-old Kanika Tiwari, who will play the role of Hrithik Roshan's younger sister.
Kanika is on cloud nine, and feels it is once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her.
Talking to glamour reporters, she said, "I am not a trained actor, but used whatever opportunity I got during my schools days. I have participated in many cultural events and small dramas too. But I never thought I would get such a big break. I feel lucky to be in this movie, that too with big names like Hrithik, Rishi Kapoorji, Priyanka Chopra and others."
Who knows, the role in Agneepath may well take Kanika to bigger roles in the coming days!
