Mangaluru, June 1: The second additional district and sessions court of Dakshina Kannada on Saturday granted bail to two accused in the mob murder case of a Kerala native named Ashraf, who was killed near Kudupu on the outskirts of the city on April 27.

Bail has been granted to the accused Rahul and K Sushanth. The court took serious note of the delay in registering the FIR and discrepancies in the complaint.

During the investigation stage, serious allegations were raised regarding the conduct of the police.

Three police personnel, including an inspector, were suspended for dereliction of duty.
